Slightly industrial, slightly rustic, really cool
Tucked away in the centre of Hereford, The Shack has a vibe all of its own. Exposed brick, greenery and a blank-canvas feel mean it never looks like anyone else’s wedding – it looks like yours, and that’s what makes it so much fun to film and photograph.
A ceremony in dream light
Ceremonies take place in the Lean-to, where the light comes from a skylight above. It’s soft, diffused and flattering from every angle – honestly a dream for us, and it looks this good whatever the weather is doing outside. A living plant wall and exposed brick finish the backdrop.
The courtyard
The courtyard is one of our favourite spaces. It has a cosy, almost tropical feel – the kind of place that makes you completely forget you’re in the middle of a city. It’s perfect for drinks, relaxed portraits and guests spilling out with a cocktail in hand.
Dinner, dancing and a proper party
The Workshop hosts dinner and dancing, with barn-style wood panelling and more skylights. Couples bring in their own caterers – food trucks included – and the bar pours local beers, spirits and cocktails. It’s a venue built for a party, and Lauren + Oliver’s film above shows just how much fun a Shack wedding can be.
Our top tip: don’t worry about the weather for your ceremony – the Lean-to’s skylight gives beautiful, soft light come rain or shine. Save your outdoor moments for the courtyard.

Full-day wedding videography is £2,850 and full-day photography is £2,450, both including VAT. Photo + film together is £5,300 with a complimentary album.
Is there a travel charge for The Shack Revolution?
No – travel is included. Hereford is just 41 miles and around an hour and ten minutes from our base, and as recommended suppliers at The Shack Revolution, we never charge for travel here.
