Filming at Eastington Park
Eastington Park is the closest venue to us of all – just 1.4 miles and five minutes from our base, so there’s definitely no travel charge. It sits in a beautiful spot surrounded by fields and farmland on the edge of the little village of Eastington, and you’ll often spot cows in the fields as you drive down the tree-lined driveway.
Ceremonies, outdoors or in the bay window
Outdoor ceremonies are especially lovely here. The long walk from the house to the ceremony area makes for a really special moment for couples on their big day – and it’s a gift to film.
If you’d rather marry indoors, the ceremony can take place in the bay window, where beautiful light falls on the two of you as you say your vows in front of your loved ones. The wedding breakfast room has a gorgeous bay window too, perfect for the top table.
The tree swing
One of Eastington Park’s defining features is its tree swing – just as popular with grown-ups as it is with the kids. There aren’t many couples who don’t want a go, and it always looks brilliant on film. It brings out the inner child in everyone, which is exactly the kind of moment we love.
The spiral staircase
Then there’s the iconic spiral staircase, with the cake always centred at the bottom of it – the natural place for everyone to gather later in the evening.
Our top tip: save a few minutes for the tree swing during your couple portraits – it always makes the film.
