Booking
do you have any terms and conditions?
How do we book you?
Guaranteeing your wedding date with us is important to do as soon as possible as we often get booked up 18-24 months in advance. The process of booking is very straight forward and once you have selected a package you can request our online booking form. Once this has been submitted we will send you details for the booking deposit which is £400 per package booked. This can be paid via BACS, Debit/Credit Card or Cash.

What happens if you are unable to attend our wedding?
Are you insured?
In the unlikely event that we are unable to attend your wedding we will make every effort with your approval to find a replacement photographer or videographer for you. And in the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking we will refund any monies paid. We are able to provide good peace of mind because we are not a single person but a team of videographers and photographers so there always very likely to be another team member available to attend your wedding day.
Yes. As a responsible business we are insured by a photographic and video specialist insurance company who provide public liability, equipment and professional indemnity cover for us. In addition to this we are insured for Aerial/UAS work for drone operations. Details of our policy are available on request by contacting us further.
Do we need to see you before the wedding day?
What if we want to cancel our booking with you?
We have a statutory 14 day cooling-off period for cancellation and refund for peace of mind. After this period we ask if you could send us written notification that you would like to cancel your booking. Depending on when you cancel, you may be liable for a cancellation charge as set out in the terms and conditions of booking to cover loss of opportunity and other costs as a result of reserving the date for you. This is calculated depending on how close to your wedding date you cancel and is calculated as a percentage of your package total: Cancellation 90 days before wedding day = 31%, 91-365 days before wedding day = 28%, 366+ days before wedding day = 24%. Your deposit is used to cover part of this cancellation charge and if the cancellation charge is less than the deposit ammount then we will refund you the difference.
It's really nice if we can, if not only to say hi! We highly recommend a meeting beforehand so that we can get to know each other and talk about what it is exactly that you want from your wedding film/photography and find out everything that you have planned for your big day. A video call around 2 weeks before the wedding is scheduled so we can talk through the logisitics for the day and all the details as well as answer any questions you might have.
Can we change your packages?
Do YOU HAVE RECOMMENDED SUPPLIERS?
Every couple are unique so our packages are starting points and if you want to change the elements of the main package then just let us know what you want to change and we will be more than happy to create a bespoke package for you. We also offer a variety of optional extras all of which can enhance your package further.
Having worked in the wedding industry as long we have, we have worked with particular companies that share the same level of quality of service that we do. On our Recommended Suppliers page you can find a list of those wedding businesses that we really rate and know are reliable and good at what they do. Hopefully this is helpful for your own wedding planning.
Payment
WhICH methods of payment do you accept?
When is the final balance due?
We know that there is lots to budget and think about for your big day so we offer a long window before the final payment is due. We will send out a reminder for the final balance, which is due no later than 14 days before the wedding day. You can make interim payments at any stage if this helps with your budget planning, just let us know you are making a payment and we will update your account.
We accept BACS, Cheque, Cash, PayPal, Debit Card, Credit Card (except AMEX).
Technical
What Sound equipment do you use?
What image equipment do you use?
We use mirrorless digital cameras for image capturing. Specifically the Panasonic Lumix S series for our Films and Sony A series for photography. These cameras record on dual memory cards simultaneously for failover at your wedding and after the wedding they are backed up to separate hard drives on and off-site for additional redundancy and security purposes.
These cameras allow us to shoot in low light situations. However we will use small LED lights/Flash when low level lighting requires it.
Sound is so important and often overlooked by videographers who prefer to plaster pop music over the top of your day. We use a range of audio recording devices to ensure the highest quality audio for your film. These include wireless Sennheiser microphones, Sennheiser and Rode directional microphones. These devices have backup recording built in to themselves for extra peace of mind.
Can i share my films?
Can i print my photographs?
Yes. We include digital files of your films as mp4 movie files on a USB so that you can easily back them up to your computer and share with friends and family. We also provide you with an online gallery of all your films so that you can easily share and watch your films anywhere in the world. Our trademark music library is licensed for you to use anywhere inlcuding social media. The only exception to the above is where commercially copyrighted music is chosen or can be heard in your recording; in which case that film will require an additional license and can only be used for private viewing and cannot be shared online or distributed.
Yes. We include both high resolution JPEG images (300dpi) which are fit for printing up to very large sizes and also low resolution JPEG images (72dpi) which are optimized for social media and sharing online. This way you can use your photographs in the two most popular ways with flexibility. We also provide you with a shop within your online gallery for very quick and easy ordering of prints, albums, gifts and more. You are granted permission to use and duplicate your photographs as much as you like and for any purpose that isn't commercial or for financial gain. So get sharing!
Do you keep a copy of our content?
What music do you use?
We guarantee to keep your completed photographs/films for 6 months from the wedding date. If you loose your copies or require additional USBs or other items, just get in touch so we can help you. Your online gallery is an additional copy of your photographs/films for additional backup for an indefinite period. Finally, we aim to keep an archive copy of your films/photographs for as long as possible so if you need a copy beyond the 6 months then get in touch to see if we can still help.
We license music through a special music libary service. This music is instrumental and emotive and we spend hours matching certain music tracks to your footage to essentially give you a personalised film score. It's also licensed for use anywhere so you can watch your films anywhere without worrying you are breaking any copyright laws. If you require copyrighted music this can be arranged, just enquire for more details.
Travel
Do you travel worldwide?
Do you travel outside of the south west?
Yes! While we are based in beautiful Somerset, we will travel across the UK for your wedding. Depending on the distance there may be an additional travel cost so just let us know where and we will work it out for you. Our inclusive travel radius is 35 miles.
Yes! We have travelled to some glorious destination weddings across Europe and enjoy capturing different locations and seeing what they bring to the wedding event. We ask for a contribution to cover our travel and accomodation costs. Typically we arrive at least one day before the wedding so we can meet and scout the wedding location.
Changes
Can we make changes to our photos?

Yes. We will edit your film in such a way that it is presented to you in the best way possible however once your film is finished editing there is still the opportunity to make changes if you feel we have made an error or something doesn't quite work. We want you to have the best film possible so if you think that they can be improved then please let us know. Small changes we are able to do for no extra cost while some changes, particularly those that take a lot of time may carry an editing charge which we will make you aware of before undertaking any changes.
Yes. We will edit your photographs in such a way that they are presented to you in the best way possible. However if you want to make changes simply get in touch with us and let us know. We want you to have the best photographs possible so if you think that they can be improved then please let us know. Small changes we are able to do for no extra cost while some changes, particularly those that take a lot of time such as beauty retouching and object removal may carry an editing charge which we will make you aware of before undertaking any changes.
